The completion of the following high school or introductory college level courses with a letter grade of “C” or better are required:

Students must also obtain a passing score on our pre-entrance exam. These exams are made up two parts.
The first exam is the Test of Essential Academic Skills, (TEAS), Booklet 1, which is a scholastic aptitude test made up of 170 questions you must complete within 3 hours time. The skills tested in the TEAS are Reading, Mathematics, Science and English/Language usage. The results are scored using an Adjusted Individual Score.
We offer the TEAS Study Guide for $50. This guide is written to address the needs of students preparing for this assessment. We have this guide available for purchase at our school. All test takers must create an ATI profile prior to taking the exam. Please log onto www.atitesting.com, click on Create New Account and follow the screen instructions. After the tester has registered on the website, a personal paper/pencil ID will be displayed; please print for your records.
The second exam is the Critical Thinking Assessment, Booklet 2. This 40 question Critical Thinking test incorporates Interpretation, Analysis, Evaluation, Inference, Explanation, and Self-Regulation competencies. Critical Thinking is a valued and important part of the nursing profession, which is why it is important to test on and assess this ability prior to admission.
