Meet Our Physicians
Dr. Maher Ayyash, Ohio Valley Hospital Outpatient PsychiatryDr. Maher Ayyash is the Medical Director of our Ohio Valley Outpatient Psychiatry center. He is also the Medical Director of our Willow Brook Geropsychiatric Unit. Dr. Ayyash earned his medical degree from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt, and completed residencies in psychiatry at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, and the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine in Wichita. A frequent presenter of grand rounds and in-service programs, Dr. Ayyash often gives lectures across the United States. He is also a psychiatry liaison and consultant for numerous international institutions and universities.

Monica Chopra, Ohio Valley Hospital Primary Care
Monica Chopra, M.D., joined OVH’s Kennedy Township Primary Care practice in July of 2016. Prior to that, she practiced medicine in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Dr. Chopra is board certified in Family Medicine; her skills include women’s health, such as performing Pap smears; procedures like skin biopsies and joint injections, and complex disease management, including diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Samina Naseer
Samina Naseer, M.D. is the Medical Director of Ohio Valley Primary Care in Coraopolis. She is an award-winning family practice physician. Dr. Naseer is also the medical director of The Wound Care Center in our Mt. Nebo office. Dr. Naseer is dedicated to all phases of medicine demanded of a primary care physician and is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kaye-Anne Newton, Ohio Valley Hospital Endocrinology
Kaye-Anne Newton, MD is an Endocrinologist at Ohio Valley Hospital. Dr. Newton earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Throughout her career she also completed a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Howard University Hospital. Her mastery of endocrinology has been honed through extensive research, including published studies such as: “Decrease in Hemoglobin A l c with 72 hour Continuous Glucose Monitoring.”
