The Certified Nursing Associate/Nursing Associate provides non-professional direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

  • Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) certification is required.

  • Completion of ACLS within 6 months of hire required
  • Must successfully complete dysrhythmias recognition and treatment course.
  • Two (2) years’ work related experience preferred.

Clinical Nurse Supervisor – Casual (Casual)

The Nurse Supervisor assumes responsibilities for overall operations of the nursing units during the off hours. Works collaboratively with the Directors and key individuals, such as, charge nurses, admissions, registration and case management to assure quality and smooth integration of services throughout the continuum of care.

Essential Job Functions

  • Plans, organizes, and oversees staff to provide safe patient care.
  • Evaluates patient care and ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Oversees that the department’s daily staffing requirements are met.
  • Assesses available resources to provide patient care and maintains appropriate staffing coverage for clinical units.
  • Provides leadership and demonstrates the effective and timely decision making and problem solving skills as related to operations on the units.
  • Provides feedback to Directors about staff issues and effectiveness.
  • Supervises and evaluates the work of subordinate staff; assists Unit Directors with disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Participates in direct patient care activities as required by patient needs and staffing resources.
  • Provide any assistance needed during emergency situations.
  • Interprets and ensures all Administrative and Nursing policies and procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  3. Current license to practice registered nursing in Pennsylvania required.
  4. Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  5. Two (2) or more years of nursing experience required.
  6. Previous supervisory experience preferred

Varying day/evening shifts including weekends and holidays. May work both 8 and 12 hour shifts.

Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (Full Time)

The CDIS position uses clinical knowledge and an understanding of documentation requirements to improve overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation of patient records on a concurrent basis using a multidisciplinary team process. Works collaboratively with physicians and the patient care team to ensure clinical information in medical record is present and accurate and works with the organization’s coding staff to ensure that appropriate clinical severity is captured for the level of service rendered to all patients.  This position typically works Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
