Frequently Asked Questions:
Q) Why did he/she get seen before me? A) Our patients are seen based on the severity of their illness. Additionally, some patients with minor illnesses may been seen quickly in our “Fast Track” area.
Q) What does a “Short Wait Time” mean? A) A “Short Wait Time” generally means you can see a nurse in 30 minutes or less
Q) If the waiting room is empty, why am I waiting so long to be seen? A) There may be critical patients in need of extensive care. In addition, emergency service vehicles may have entered from the rear entrance; those require an immediate and higher level of care.
Q) Why can’t someone go back to check on my wait time? A) For your safety, our staff is unable to leave their current position. As we know this can be upsetting, we are in the process of implementing new systems to help monitor your wait time and update the staff of delays. Please be patient with us.
Q) How much will this visit cost? A) This answer depends on your insurance plan benefits, testing, and treatment received. Charges on your account are generally available within 5-7 business days. You can check out our Price of Service page if you have additional questions.
Q) Do you have WIFI? A) Yes, please use “OVH Guest”
Q) Am I able to use my cell phone? A) Yes, in the waiting area
Q) Why shouldn’t I eat or drink anything, or use the bathroom? A) This may postpone or delay required testing
