Pre-Operative Joint Replacement Education Class

If you are scheduled to have a total knee or total hip replacement, we highly recommend that you attend our free Pre-Operative Joint Replacement Education Class.  The class is taught by professionals from nursing, physical therapy and case management and will provide you with very valuable information.  

Topics covered include preparing for your surgery, what to expect while you are in the hospital, and how to prepare for your discharge home or to the next level of care.  You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

When:  Twice a month - Call 412-777-6160 to register.

Where:  On the 1st floor of the main hospital in the Board Room.  Enter through the main entrance.  Ask the volunteers at the information desk if you need a wheelchair. 

Who:  Any patient scheduled for a hip or knee replacement.  A family member or friend is also encouraged to attend.
