OVGH is conducting a Community Survey

On Monday, February 4, 2013 as part of their commitment to creating a healthier community, Ohio Valley General Hospital is launching a community survey to identify community health needs and priorities. All community residents are asked to participate in the community survey that can be found at http://www.getstrategy.com/ovcommunitysurvey/ or www.facebook.com/ohiovalleyhospital. Residents who do not have access to the internet can obtain a copy of the survey at Ohio Valley General Hospital’s main Information desk and at Focus on Renewal (F.O.R.).

The survey is part of an overall comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) process that is being conducted by Ohio Valley General Hospital, with consulting assistance from Strategy Solutions, Inc. All residents are encouraged to complete the survey by Friday, March 1, 2013, which should take respondents no more than 10 minutes to complete. All paper copies are to be returned to Ohio Valley Marketing Department. In addition to the community survey, the CHNA process includes a review of over 140 health status indicators, individual interviews with selected community leaders, a compilation of available community health resources, and a prioritization and action planning process.
