RN –These positions available in the following areas and evaluate relevant clinical data in patients. Staff provides safe and thorough patient care, including education. Previous experience preferred.

RN Pain Center – Kennedy Township (Part Time) – The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients seeking treatment at the Ohio Valley Pain Treatment Center.
Nursing Associate Med Surg & ED (Full Time & Part Time) – This position will take vital signs, assist with patient’s hygiene needs, positioning, performing accuchecks, transport patients, assist nurses as needed and perform charting functions into Meditech. One year hospital or long term care facility experience as a nurse aid is preferred.
Assistant Director – OPSU/ENDO/PACU (Full Time) – The OPSU/ENDO/PACU Assistant Director supports the AVP, Perioperative Services in the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery, the management of resources, the development of personnel, maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory standards, strategic planning, and the fostering of collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with units within the Hospital. RN, BSN preferred with prior experience in OPSU, ENDO, or PACU strongly preferred. Must possess strong leadership and organizational skills; positive behavioral and customer service traits.

Chief Anesthesiologist – Qualifications: Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. • Current, unrestricted DEA registration. • Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) • Maintain active ACLS, PALS, BLS certification, PA State licensure, DEA licensure and ABA certification.
Clinical Project Specialist (Full Time) – The Clinical Project Specialist assumes responsibilities for overall assigned clinical projects. Works collaboratively with the Unit Directors and key individuals, such as, charge nurses, admissions, registration, case management and physicians to assure quality and smooth integration of clinical projects.
Environmental Services Aid (Full Time) – This position may work a rotating schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Responsible for the cleanliness of Hospital (mop & buff, removal various trash, outside grounds work). Experience preferred but not necessary.
Instructor School of Nursing (Full Time) – Provides theoretical and didactic experiences for students, based on sound educational principles. Provides educational experience for students in which to prepare students to function as an entry level registered nurse. Collaborates with clinical manager/directors, staff and community resources to ensure continuity in patient care and quality. Participates in hospital-wide patient education, staff education and community health education activities. Formal Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an approved professional nursing program (or intent to complete MSN within 5 years of teaching in PA). Experience teaching Med/Surg courses required. Credentials: PA RN Licensure; three years’ experience teaching in nursing education preferred.
Mechanic, Maintenance (Full Time) – The Hospital’s mechanic performs routine maintenance and respond to service calls related to the Hospital’s electric, plumbing and HVAC systems. Exhibit willingness to contribute wherever needed which may include snow removal, occasional shift work and occasional off-hours project work. Possess a valid stationary engineer’s license or commit to obtaining a license within one year of employment.
Medical Assistant – Business Fit (Casual) – The Medical Assistant is responsible to perform the tasks assigned by the Practice Manager and Clinical Manager to carry out the functions of the Business Fit department within the scope of practice for a medical assistant.
Medical Laboratory Technician (Full Time) Night Shift, Weekends Off – The Medical Laboratory Technician performs chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
Medical Technologist – Lab (Full Time) – The Medical Technologist performs and correlates chemical, bacteriological, serological, or microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
Medical Transcriptionist Radiology – (Part Time) The Medical Transcriptionist must fulfill the duties concerned with the transcribing of Radiology reports in a timely and efficient manner.
Nutrition Services Aid (Full Time) – This position will work in all areas including tray line, sanitation, slicer, salad prep, dish room, cafeteria, and serving and picking up patient trays. Prior cashier experience strongly preferred.
Occupational Therapist/ARU (Full Time) – The licenses Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care including evaluation, care planning, and implementation of treatment within the scope of occupational therapy and consistent with the established standards of occupational therapy practice. Will be working weekends and as needed.
Pharmacist (Full Time) – The registered pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services for inpatients, outpatients, physicians, and employees within the scope of the pharmacy license.
Pharmacy Technicians (Casual) – The Pharmacy Technician provides pharmaceutical care services under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist within the scope of the pharmacy license.
Physician Billing Specialist – OVH Professional Services – Responsible for performing functions necessary for accurate and efficient manual and electronic claims processing for all patient accounts. Ability to assign accurate CPT-4, ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes. Must be able to use an electronic health record. Minimum 2 years billing and claims processing experience in a physician setting required.
Primary Care/Internal Medicine – Ohio Valley Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Primary Care/Internal Medicine physician to join a large well established Practice. The practice is located in two prime locations. Candidates must be board certified/eligible, possess a current PA Medical license in good standing and hold a current unrestricted DEA certificate. Registration Clerk – Patient Access (Full-Time) – The Registration Clerk is responsible for timely and accurate registration. The Registration Clerk interviews patients for financial and demographic information that will ensure financial viability of the Hospital. High school diploma or equivalent required. Possess and/or achieve technical certification through national Patient Access Associates preferred. One (1) year experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred. Knowledge of Insurance, typing/keyboarding, customer service skills, point-of-service collections experience preferred.
Respiratory Therapist Sleep Lab (Full Time) – The Respiratory Therapist working in the Sleep Lab is responsible for performing and analyzing overnight polysomnograms and multiple sleep latency tests on adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of sleep disorders. The Therapist is also responsible for scheduling and obtaining appropriate referrals and insurance authorizations. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of AMA approved program (Associate degree) in respiratory care required.
- Additional training at a recognized program for sleep medicine preferred.
- Current PA respiratory care license required.
- CRT certification required. RRT certification preferred. R.PSG.T cert preferred. BLS certification required within 30 days.
Speech Pathologist (Part-Time) – To perform direct patient care activities including evaluation, planning, and implementation of a treatment plan to individuals who are communicatively impaired or have swallow disorders.
Ultrasound Tech – Radiology (Casual) – The Ultrasound Tech provides health care services while demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to assist in the diagnosis of the patient. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for completion of the procedure.
