Clinical Manager – ARU – This position assumes twenty-four hour responsibilities for overall nursing operations of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU). Works collaboratively with the Program Director of Acute Rehab Unit and key individuals to assure smooth integration of services throughout the continuum of care. Assists with Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction Initiatives. Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. BSN preferred. Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Pennsylvania required. Current BLS certification required Two (2) or more years of hospital clinical experience required. Previous management experience preferred.
SCHOOL OF NURSING OPPORTUNITIES
Assistant Director, School of Nursing – This position is responsible for assisting the Director in the operations of the school of Nursing and is expected to foster education excellence through innovative, evidence-based curriculum design. Must have a current PA RN license and BLS certification. MSN or related degree required with a minimum of 5 years experience in nursing education required.
Instructor – School of Nursing (Full Time) – Provides theoretical and didactic experiences for students, based on sound educational principles. Provides educational experience for students in which to prepare students to function as an entry level registered nurse. Collaborates with clinical manager/directors, staff and community resources to ensure continuity in patient care and quality. Participates in hospital-wide patient education, staff education and community health education activities. Formal Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an approved professional nursing program (or intent to complete MSN within 5 years of teaching in PA). Credentials: PA RN Licensure three years experience teaching in nursing education preferred. Previous Med Surge experience required.
NUTRITION SERVICES OPPORTUNITIES
Aide – Nutrition Services (Full Time) – This position will work in all areas including tray line, sanitation, slicer, salad prep, dish room, cafeteria, and serving and picking up patient trays.
Nutrition Services Supervisor – Nutrition Services – The Supervisor assists in directing all facets of the Nutrition Services Department to meet the needs of the patients, residents, physicians, employees, and guests by providing high quality, cost effective food service to meet their nutritional needs. Ability to direct department staff for patient meal service as well as cafeteria and catering functions. Prior food service experience strongly preferred.
IMC/ICU CRITICAL CARE OPPORTUNITIES
Monitor Technician – IMC (FT/Casual) – This position will perform continuous observation, interpretation and communication of cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients and provide patient care including vitals, glucose, and ADLs.
Patient Attendant/Sitter (IMC)–This position has the primary responsibility of sitting with and observing patients on the unit and reporting any needs and potential safety risks to the nursing staff.
Unit Secretary –IMC (Part Time) – This position will provide clerical services to the unit under the direction of the Charge Nurse and /or Director as well as maintaining the clinical records in compliance with hospital policy. The Unit Secretary will also be responsible for maintaining an effective flow of communication to the nursing unit. Candidates must have good telephone, computer, and time management skills and be highly organized.
OPSU/ENDO/PACU Manager – The OPSU/ENDO/PACU Manager supports the AVP, Perioperative Services in the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery, the management of resources, the development of personnel, maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory standards, strategic planning, and the fostering of collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with units within the Hospital. RN, BSN preferred with prior experience in OPSU, ENDO, or PACU strongly preferred. Must possess strong leadership and organizational skills; positive behavioral and customer service traits.
Unit Secretary – OPSU (Part Time) – This position will provide clerical services to the unit under the direction of the Charge Nurse and /or Director as well as maintaining the clinical records in compliance with hospital policy. Clinical Office Coordinator – Outpatient Psychiatry (Full-Time) – The Clinical Office Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight of office activities including staffing, scheduling, work assignment and communications. Also responsible for providing clinical oversight of and guidance to clinical staff. Will direct clinical and clerical tasks in a multi-physician office setting under the direction of the practice administrator and physician. Will also train and guide new incoming staff. This position must be filled by a LPN or advanced medical assistant with current BLS certification. A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a psychiatric setting with oversight responsibilities required, in addition to experience with clinical case management, authorizations and patient triage required. Previous experience in an outpatient clinic and with electronic health records preferred.

Respiratory Therapist Sleep Technologist– Respiratory Therapy (Casual) –Responsible for providing basic and advanced respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders. Respiratory Therapist with 2 years sleep lab experience and a registered polysomnographer preferred. Graduate of AMA approved program (Associate degree) in Respiratory Care required. Current PA respiratory care license require and CRT certification within 1 year of hire required. RRT certification preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire.
Help Desk Associate- Information Management (Full-Time) – Provide technical and procedural support in the implementation, modification, and usage of the Hospital Information System clinical application software. Candidates must have good telephone, computer, and time management skills and be highly organized.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – (Casual) – Performs direct patient care activities under the supervision of the OTR/L including the implementation of the treatment plan within the scope of OT& consistent with the standards of the OT practice. Must have PA license with experience in acute care & rehab.
Medical Assistant – Pain Center (Full Time) – The Medical Assistant will perform clerical tasks in a physician office setting (Pain Center) under the direction of the Clinical Manager, Hospital management and physician(s). Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent work experience required. Daylight 7:30 – 4pm.
ECHO Tech – Cardiology (Casual) – Primarily responsible for performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms on the adult and geriatric patient. In addition, this technician is also responsible for performing other diagnostic cardiographic tests within the scope of care defined by the Hospital. Must be a registered ECHO Tech with two years acute care hospital experience.
Medical Technologist – Lab (casual) – The Medical Technologist performs and correlates chemical, bacteriological, serological, or microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Technology program required. Board of Registry Certification MT(ASCP) or CLT(HEW) or board eligible required.
Painter – Facilities Management (Full Time) – This position will perform routine spackling, painting, wall covering, wall covering repair, plaster repair, and minor repairs to carpet and vinyl floor coverings, as needed, to continuously upgrade the cosmetic appearance of the Hospital. Must have previous relevant experience.
Administrative Assistant – Pain Center (Part – Time)- The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for all clerical duties of the practice including but not limited to coordinating services, scheduling patients, insurance verification, physician billing, co-payment collection and deposit, volume data collection, maintaining par level of office supplies and forms, and maintenance of Medical Records. HS Diploma or equivalent required and knowledge of health care insurance.
Case Manager – Case Management (Casual) – This position is responsible for the coordination of the clinical & financial plan for targeted patient assignments; performs overall utilization management, discharge planning, care facilitation, & referral to other levels of care; and works with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate clinical care & achievement of desired quality and financial outcomes. Must have active RN license; BSN preferred. Must have previous case management experience in Med/Surg, ARU or critical care preferred.
Assistant Director – Case Management – The Assistant Director of Case Management assists in the planning, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the department care management processes; reviews the data and development of action plans to improve the operations and functioning of the department; performs inpatient transfer arrangements to alternative levels of care; and serves as a role model and mentor to facilitate positive patient outcomes for the patient, family, and the community. Bachelor degree in nursing or other health related field required. Masters degree in health related field preferred. MSW licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania preferred. In lieu of MSW licensure, RN licensure preferred.5 years of clinical experience with 2 years management experience.
Aide – Environmental Services (Full Time) –This position may work a rotating schedule to include evenings, weekends & holidays. Responsible for the cleanliness of Hospital (mop & buff, removal various trash, outside grounds work). Exp. preferred but not necessary. H.S. diploma or GED required.
Patient Account Rep – (Full –Time) – The Patient Account Representative is responsible to provide follow-up on unpaid patient accounts receivable. Minimum one (1) year Hospital or physician experience preferred in a PFS setting with emphasis on insurance reimbursement and self pay collections required. Associates degree in Business or health related field preferred. Possess and/or achieve technical certification through the American Association of Health Care Administration Management preferred.
Director, Revenue Cycle – Patient Accounts – The Director of Revenue Cycle supervises the admissions/ registration, switchboard, billing, and credit and collections functions of the hospital. This individual has the responsibility for ensuring that services provided by the hospital are billed and collected in a timely manner and that the hospital is in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations regarding billing of services. Ten (10) years full revenue cycle experience required. Five (5) years admitting and registration operations experience required. Five (5) years experience in a managerial role required. Previous experience that would provide and maintain knowledge of Medicare/Medicade rules and regulations, billing and collections laws, and Medicare Bad Debt/Charity Care laws required.
Surgical Tech – OR – (Full-time) –The Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting the surgical team with the multidisciplinary activities required to provide the highest standard of care for the perioperative patient. The Surgical Technician functions under the supervision of the RN and as a member of the OR team. Graduate from an approved School of Surgical Technology required. Certification in Surgical Technology preferred. Current CPR certification required.
Registration Clerk – Patient Access (Casual) – The Registration Clerk is responsible for timely and accurate registration. The Registration Clerk interviews patients for financial and demographic information that will ensure financial viability of the Hospital. Typing/keyboarding, customer service skills, point-of-service collections, insurance knowledge preferred.
