Opportunities are available for qualified applicants for the following positions:
RN –These positions available in the following areas and evaluate relevant clinical data in patients. Staff provides safe and thorough patient care, including education. Previous experience preferred.
- Geropsych (Full Time)
Nursing Associate – Med Surg, ED, Gerospych & IMC (Full Time & Part Time) – This position will take vital signs, assist with patient’s hygiene needs, positioning, performing accuchecks, transport patients, assist nurses as needed and perform charting functions into Meditech. One year hospital or long term care facility experience as a nurse aid is preferred.
Cinical Manager – ARU (Full time) – This position assumes twenty-four hour responsibilities for overall nursing operations of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU). Works collaboratively with the Program Director of Acute Rehab Unit and key individuals to assure smooth integration of services throughout the continuum of care. Assists with Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction Initiatives. Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. BSN preferred. Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Pennsylvania required. Current BLS certification required Two (2) or more years of hospital clinical experience required. Previous management experience preferred.
OTHER EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES
Environmental Services Aid (Full Time) – This position may work a rotating schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Responsible for the cleanliness of Hospital (mop & buff, removal various trash, outside grounds work). Experience preferred but not necessary.
Medical Technologist – Lab (Full Time) – The Medical Technologist performs and correlates chemical, bacteriological, serological, or microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
MRI Technologist – Radiology (Casual) – The MRI Technologist is accountable for the scanning of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the ordering physician. The technologist exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
Nutrition Services Aid (Full Time) – This position will work in all areas including tray line, sanitation, slicer, salad prep, dish room, cafeteria, and serving and picking up patient trays. Prior cashier experience strongly preferred.
Pharmacy Technicians (Casual) – The Pharmacy Technician provides pharmaceutical care services under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist within the scope of the pharmacy license.
Physician Billing Specialist – OVH Professional Services – Responsible for performing functions necessary for accurate and efficient manual and electronic claims processing for all patient accounts. Ability to assign accurate CPT-4, ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes. Must be able to use an electronic health record. Minimum 2 years billing and claims processing experience in a physician setting required.
Registration Clerks – Patient Access (Full-Time) – The Registration Clerk is responsible for timely and accurate registration. The Registration Clerk interviews patients for financial and demographic information that will ensure financial viability of the Hospital. High school diploma or equivalent required. Possess and/or achieve technical certification through national Patient Access Associates preferred. One (1) year experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred. Knowledge of Insurance, typing/keyboarding, customer service skills, point-of-service collections experience preferred.
Respiratory Therapist Sleep Lab (Full Time) – The Respiratory Therapist working in the Sleep Lab is responsible for performing and analyzing overnight polysomnograms and multiple sleep latency tests on adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of sleep disorders. The Therapist is also responsible for scheduling and obtaining appropriate referrals and insurance authorizations. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of AMA approved program (Associate degree) in respiratory care required.
- Additional training at a recognized program for sleep medicine preferred.
- Current PA respiratory care license required.
- CRT certification required. RRT certification preferred. R.PSG.T cert preferred. BLS certification required within 30 days.
Phlebotomist 1 (Full Time) The Phlebotomist greets patients and processes test orders in the Meditech Laboratory Information System generating collection labels; collects blood and other specimens from the patient; and processes specimens for courier pickup by the reference Laboratory.
