Case Manager – Case Management (Full Time) – This RN position is responsible for the coordination of the clinical & financial plan for targeted patient assignments; performs overall utilization management, discharge planning, care facilitation, & referral to other levels of care; and works with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate clinical care & achievement of desired quality and financial outcomes. Must have active RN license; BSN preferred.

Nursing Associate –This position will take vital signs, assist with patient’s hygiene needs, positioning, perform accuchecks, transport patients, assist nurses as needed, and perform clerical duties including order entry. One year hospital or long term care facility exp. as a nurse aide is preferred.

LPN – Willow Brook Geropsychiatric Unit (Full Time) - Staff will be responsible to provide care for elderly patients with behavioral health problem. Must be calm and professional in all situations. Must be licensed to practice in PA, be certified in healthcare provider CPR and have psych experience.
LPN – Med/Surg (Part Time) - Responsible for providing direct and indirect comprehensive patient care according to established nursing procedures and under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing required. Current Pennsylvania LPN license required. Current BLS certification required and 2 years prior experience preferred.
Monitor Technician – IMC (Part Time) - This position will perform continuous observation, interpretation and communication of cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients and provide patient care including vitals, glucose, and ADLs.
Patient Attendant/Sitter (IMC)–This position has the primary responsibility of sitting with and observing patients on the unit and reporting any needs and potential safety risks to the nursing staff.
Assistant Director, School of Nursing – This position is responsible for assisting the Director in the operations of the school of Nursing and is expected to foster education excellence through innovative, evidence-based curriculum design. Must have a current PA RN license and BLS certification. MSN or related degree required with a minimum of 5 years experience in nursing education required.
Instructor – School of Nursing (Full Time) - Provides educational experience for students in which to prepare students to function as an entry level registered nurse. Collaborates with clinical manager/directors, staff and community resources to ensure continuity in patient care and quality. Participates in hospital-wide patient education, staff education and community health education activities. Formal Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an approved professional nursing program (or intent to complete MSN within 5 years of teaching in PA). Credentials: PA RN Licensure three years experience teaching in nursing education preferred. Previous Med Surge experience required.
Director, School of Nursing – Director is responsible for organizing, planning, implementing and evaluating activities of the SON. Responsibilities also include maintaining educational and professional standards, through visionary application of research and regulatory guidelines. Will direct the development of curricular and program development for the school in collaboration with patients, staff and community resources. Must have working knowledge of NLNAC Accreditation process. 5 or more years teaching experience required. Master’s Degree in Nursing from an approved professional nursing program required. Current PA RN license.
Radiologic Technologist – Radiology (Casual) – The Rad Tech provides health care services while demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient. The Technologist exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited radiographic program required; ARRT or board eligible required. If board eligible, must be credentialed within one (1) year from hire date.
OPSU/ENDO/PACU Manager - The OPSU/ENDO/PACU Manager supports the AVP, Perioperative Services in the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery, the management of resources, the development of personnel, maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory standards, strategic planning, and the fostering of collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with units within the Hospital. RN, BSN preferred with prior experience in OPSU, ENDO, or PACU strongly preferred. Must possess strong leadership and organizational skills; positive behavioral and customer service traits.
Aide – Nutrition Services (Full Time) - This position will work in all areas including tray line, sanitation, slicer, salad prep, dish room, cafeteria, and serving and picking up patient trays.
Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy (Full Time) – The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing basic and advanced respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders and/or policies and procedures to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients within the scope of care and under the supervision of the Medical Director and technical Director of respiratory care. Graduate of AMA approved program (Associate degree) in Respiratory Care required. Current PA respiratory care license require and CRT certification within 1 year of hire required. RRT certification preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
Respiratory Therapist Sleep Technologist– Respiratory Therapy (Casual) – The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing basic and advanced respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders. Respiratory Therapist with 2 years sleep lab experience and a registered polysomnographer preferred. Graduate of AMA approved program (Associate degree) in Respiratory Care required. Current PA respiratory care license require and CRT certification within 1 year of hire required. RRT certification preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire.
Phlebotomist – Laboratory (Casual) - This position will collect blood and other specimens from the patient; and process specimens for courier pickup by the reference Laboratory.
Registration Clerk – Patient Access (Full Time) – This position will register all patients in a cordial professional manner according to department & hospital policy. Duties will also include obtaining financial and demographic information for efficient billing processes on all patients. Must have excellent customer service, computer & medical insurance knowledge.
Marketing & Special Events Coordinator – Marking – The successful candidate for this position must have the ability to effectively communicate internally and with the public, both verbally and through written communications. Must be proficient utilizing social media and web writing. Prior experience assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and event planning preferred.
Patient Advocate – Nursing Services –(Full Time ) – The Patient Advocate provides leadership and possesses a strong patient and customer satisfaction focus. Responsible for the positive customer service relations and experiences for Ohio Valley Hospital. This role investigates, replies to and resolves all complaints, compliments and occurrences, as appropriate involving patients of various ages, their families and visitors. Prepares necessary records and documentation for such events. Prior clinical experience and healthcare exposure strongly preferred in addition to a Health related certification as NA, EMS or LPN preferred.
Unit Secretary – Med Surg (Full Time) – This position will provide clerical services to the unit under the direction of the Charge Nurse and /or Director as well as maintaining the clinical records in compliance with hospital policy. The Unit Secretary will also be responsible for maintaining an effective flow of communication to the nursing unit. Candidates must have good telephone, computer, and time management skills and be highly organized.
